Abigail Marie Krizman, 22 years old, went to be with the Lord on Monday July 2nd 2018. Although Abby had seizures daily and was developmentally delayed, she never let that stop her from living and enjoying as normal a life as possible. Abigail was a girl with an ever present contagious smile that affected anyone that was around her. Some of Abbys favorite things to do were coloring, watching musicals, listening to music and books. Even though she could not read she enjoyed having chapter books read to her and also enjoyed looking at pictures books and formulating her own stories. She graduated from Riverside High School in 2014 and when she walked across the stage she was one of the few that received a standing ovation that lasted a long time that brought tears to our eyes and made us feel so proud of her. Abigail was a very busy girl and her presence will be greatly missed in the community. She was involved in 4H for many years, at first showing ducks and geese then her dog Crackers. She swam for the Special Olympics and qualified for the State races and won many medals. She volunteered at the Madison Library, volunteered at the Madison Food Bank, Crossroads Church and Cornerstone Church and at their clothing boutique.
She loved going to the special needs adult Sunday school at Cornerstone Friends church and would go on for long lengths of time about the teachings. Abby also looked forward to going to Camp Sue Osborne, a camp for special needs. She was baptized at Crossroad Community Church and when asked if she wanted to be baptized she said yes without hesitation which gave her parents great joy. Abigail will be greatly missed by all that came to know her, especially her parents Ann and Joe Krizman, Joseph her brother which she greatly loved, her Grandma Krizman, Grandma Schuster and by her many aunts and uncles Mike and Terri Markovich, Peggy and Jay Sopenski, Steve and Ann George, Dan and Kathleen George, Anthony and Marissa George, Ann Lipnik, John and Ilona Krizman, Terri and Frank Arko and by her cousins too many to list. Abbys dream was to marry a prince and now the Prince has come and swept her off her feet and she will forever be with Him.
Visitation will be Friday July 6, 2018 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. Service will be immediately following at 7 pm. The Service will be officiated by Pastor Mike Haury of Crossroads Community Church. Donations may be made in Abby’s name to Camp Sue Osborn, 8090 Broadmoor Road, Mentor, Ohio 44060.
