Albert N. Crnkovich, age 84, of Geneva, died March 31, 2018 at UH Geneva Medical Center. He was born January 21, 1934 in Blawnox, PA to Matthew and Barbara (Luke) Crnkovich. Albert served with the U.S. Airforce from 1951 to 1955.He worked as a crane operator for Republic Steel in Cleveland and retired after 35 years. He enjoyed building model airplanes and model trains, and working in his garden. Albert is survived by his son Matthew, with whom he lived; daughter, Rose (Rob) Thompson of Smyrna, GA; grandson James Thompson and brother, Bill Raymond of Dripping Springs, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, John and Matthew Crnkovich. Friends will be received Thursday, April 12, 2018 from 5 to 7pm at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation at 7pm. Friends may leave condolences online at www.behmfuneral.com

Papa Al was a unique and very special person. I was always envious on the way he lived his life, simple things brought him great joy - model trains, planes and plants to name a few. He was always willing share a story about his travels during his time in the military or his working years at LTV. He never forgot a birthday for Rose or James, sending a card with a special gift or message. I will never forget his voice, the suspenders or the special time that I spent with him over the years.
