Bobby Freeman left a message on October 6, 2020:
I'm so sorry to hear of Tony's passing. I just happen to be checking on how the 2020 Grape Jamboree went when I saw this notice. Tony was so good to me around 1980-81. He hired me to play music for the Jamboree on center stage right after the Sunday Parade for a couple years . He was a big fan and helped me get a loan for a keyboard I wanted. I just remember Tony as a man with a big heart and a tremendous amount of integrity. My thoughts to everyone in the Long Family. Bobby Freeman Phoenix, Arizona

Dianne and I send our heart felt sympathy to Tony's family and especially his wife, Carrie and his sons. It has been years since we have connected, our memory of Tony Long is of his hard work and dedication to the city of Geneva! My brother, Barry, always spoke highly of his brother-in-law! The 61 years of marriage speaks volumes of the love bond these two had for each other! May the Lord bless and comfort you in your time of grieving Carrie!\nIn His love and exciting service\nTerry and Dianne Wolcott
