Betty K. Smith, age 84, of Thompson passed away Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Geauga Medical Center. She was born May 13, 1931 in Cleveland to Lina (Holland) and Hermann Kramer. She married Albert W. Smith in Willoughby on February 18, 1961.
Betty was a 1949 graduate of Lakewood High School. She was the bookkeeper and cashier for 25 years with Bill’s Clothes in Lake County. Betty was a 40 year member of F.O.E. AERIE Auxillary and of SNPJ Lodge #778 in Springhill, FL since 1982.
She is survived by son, Franklin H. “Spanky” (Darlene) Smith; granddaughters, Dawn Wickert and Debbie (Dominic) Magda; great-grandchildren, Devin and Travis and Dominic and Dahlia; great-great grandson, Landen; sisters, Agatha (Mac) Shawver, Carolyn (Joe) Yeaglin, Marie Kramer; brother, Roy Kramer; and cousins, Bill, Joann, Jason and Jared Holland.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Albert in 1997; her parents and her sister, Eleanor Vacik.
Final resting place will be Bushnell Veteran’s Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
