Beverly Frances Hietanen, age 79 of Madison, passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at UH Memorial Hospital of Geneva. Born April 15, 1941 in Johnstown, PA she was the daughter of the late Norman H. Eager and Dorothy A. (Nees) Eager. She was married to John “Jerry” G. Hietanen.
Beverly worked as a Chief Operator at Mid Continental for over 5 years. She enjoyed living by and walking along the beach, coin collecting and stamp collecting. She also enjoyed riding her bike.
She is survived by her sons, Matthew J. and Michael J. (Melissa) Hietanen; sister, Donna Walker; and brother, Norm (Linda) Eager. She was a loving grandmother to Maren, Sarah and Morgan. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; her parents; sisters, Lois Crum and “Pat” Bailey.
A Graveside Memorial Service will be held 11 am, June 18, 2021 at Perry Cemetery. The Behm Family Funeral Home is assisting the family during this time. Online obituary and condolences may be viewed at www.behmfuneral.com

I worked at a dental office in Madison for 17 years. Bev was one of my absolute favorite patients/friends. She always beamed when speaking of her children. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a beautiful person.
