Wolf, Bruce M., Madison, OH passed away peacefully at his home on May 2nd, 2018. He was born November 17,1939 in Youngstown, Ohio to Myron John Wolf and Josephine Louise (Donath) Wolf. He attended South High School and was a member of the National Honor Society, graduating in 1957. Bruce studied at Carnegie Tech and Youngstown College before enlisting in the U.S. Army and serving all of his active duty with the 24th Infantry Division in Munich and Augsburg, Germany. After discharge, he earned a Bachelors in Psychology from The Ohio State University. He then obtained a Masters in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh, and served on the faculty at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York before taking a position on the faculty of Albany Medical College in the Ophthalmology Department. He then had the pleasure of being part of The Oley Foundation in Albany, New York for a number of years. He then worked for the New York State Department of Health, retiring in 2013 and spent his remaining time with his lovely and loving wife Barbara on the shores of Lake Erie at their home in Madison, Ohio. Bruce was an active church member throughout his life, and was a commissioned deacon in the Atlantic District of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean (Blake) Wolf, his son and daughter-in-law, Todd and Tara Wolf of Williamburg, Virginia, and his daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Michael Brennan of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Other surviving relatives include his brother and sister-in-law, Donald J. and Gloria Wolf of Tallahassee, Florida and his grandson, Benjamin J. Gagnon of Selkirk, New York, as well as sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, and treasured close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Timothy J. Wolf. The Wolf family wishes to thank the wonderful people of Hillcrest Hospital, Concord Village Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation, and Cleveland Clinic Hospice.
