Carol M. Protzman, age 90, of Perry, passed away on December 6, 2016 in Geneva, Ohio. She was born February 11, 1926 to the late Clarence and Eva Ransom. Carol married the love of her life, George E. Protzman on November 9, 1942.
Everyone who knows Carol has been given an article of love, made by her, over the years. Sometimes it was a quilt, afghan or clothing. She was a longtime active member at Painesville Baptist Church where she was generous with her sewing skills which recently included providing bible covers for many young people.
Carol is survived by her son, Dale (Patricia) Protzman of Virginia; daughter, Sandra Trapp of Harpersfield; four granchildren, Jerry Protzman, Michael Protzman, Ann Cooper and Corey Trapp; great-grandsons, Jonathan and Michael; sister, Betty Lewis; daughter-in-law, Lynda Protzman; great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband, George E. Protzman and her son, Dennis Protzman.
Graveside services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, December 9th at Perry Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057.

So sorry to hear of Mrs. Protzman's passing. She was always ready to greet you with a smile and a sweet handshake. After not seeing me for 30 years she saw me and called me by name. She was an easy woman to respect. My condolences.
