Curtis Welsh, age 82, of Madison, Ohio passed away Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Cardinal Woods Skilled Nursing in Madison. He was born August 16, 1935 in Windber, Pennsylvania to Alfred Charles and Catherine (Mann) Welsh. He married Theresa L. Campbell on July 24, 1954 in Madison.
Curtis was a machinist and programmer at the former Upson Machine in Painesville. He enjoyed fixing cars, building homes and polka music. He loved helping others and hosting family gatherings.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Tom) Korth of Madison Township; son, Curtis (Kathe)Welsh of Pierpont Ohio; grandchildren, Joshua Korth, Ciarra Welsh, Cheyanne Welsh; great-grandson, Kieran Welsh; brothers Russ Welsh of Madison, Richard Welsh of Tennessee; sisters, Carol Lang of Ashtabula, Betty Wargo of Florida; friend and companion, Jeanne Webb of Madison; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Theresa L. Welsh in 2009; daughter, Cynthia Clark in 1983; and brothers, Harold Welch, Charles Welsh and Vernon Welsh.
Friends will be received 6 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio. A Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the funeral home. Final Resting Place will be Madison Memorial Cemetery on Arcola Road.
