On October 30, 2017, our beloved little brother, Douglas E. Keller went home to be with the Lord Jesus. He was graciously greeted in heaven by our father and mother: Harold and Renate Keller.
Dougie (as we called him) was born on August 14, 1966 in Painesville. In his early years, he grew up in Perry, eventually moving to Rock Creek and attending Rock Creek Elementary School, then Jefferson Area High School. A few years after high school , he became a Geneva area resident.
Dougie loved cooking for his friends. He enjoyed raising a garden every year, and then sharing his harvest with his family and friends. He liked working on cars, buying dvds and old movies and sharing them with his friends. Our brother had such a good heart. Many times, he would share his food with families making sure their children always had a full belly. He was always doing something for someone. Our little brother was a prankster and his mischievous side got him in to trouble. He was known to duct tape a friends car a time or two. Pranking his brothers was a common occurrence since he worked with them at HSM Builders.
He was skilled in electrical, heating, plumbing, air conditioning, and refrigeration. Family was very important to Doug and we all stuck together no matter what. With that being said, until we meet again in heaven, he leaves behind his brothers: David and Yleanna Keller, Dan, Dennis, Dwaine and Cheryl Keller, sister: Darlene Janson; nieces: Christel Janson, Kim , Carrie , Renee, Rachel Keller, and Nikki LaRusch; nephews: Peter and Cameron Janson, Joshua Keller; several great nieces, nephews and many friends.
Friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 pm on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. There will be a Funeral Service following at 4:00pm. Burial will take place at East Trumbull Cemetery. Friends may leave condolences online at www.behmfuneral.com
