Mass of Christian Burial for Edward F. Fisher, age 93, will be at 10 am, Saturday, May 29 at St. Patrick Church, 16550 Rock Creek Rd., Thompson, OH 44086 with the Rev. Timothy Plavac officiating.
Ed passed away May 24, 2021 at Brookdale of Mentor. He was born July 27, 1927 in Cleveland, OH. He was an excellent mechanic and could fix anything. He was a member of Goodtime Cruisers, and a founding member of Chapter 118 of Experimental Aircraft Association. He was a pilot and built 2 airplanes, restored antique cars and was a drummer in a jazz band.
Survivors are his children, Kathy (Tony) Montonini, Ed (Val) Fisher, Dave (Bonnie) Fisher; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn whom he married June 3, 1950 and his granddaughter Jennifer Montonini.
Calling hours will be 4-8 pm, Friday, May 28, 2021 at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville, OH 44077. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing.
Burial will be held at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. In Lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brookdale Hospice, 3380 Brecksville Rd. Suite 101, Richfield, OH 44286.
