To my best friend and husband I can't even imagine life without you. I was truly blessed when you came in my life. There will not be a day that goes by that I won't be missing you. I wish someone would pinch me so I can wakeup from this nightmare but I know that you are watching over me and the kids. We will always have you in our hearts. You will never ever be forgotten. I LOVE YOU!

Growing up with Grant was the best. You were my brother that I never had ( sharing everything ie fishing , hunting and trapping) I could go on like stopping by the B&R bar playing a game of pool or 2 while your dad had a snort or two then we would go hunting the railroad tracks for rabbits with his dads 2 beagles . You also loved coming to my house as a kid raiding my parents pantry ( owning a grocery store it was packed full ) baking brownies or pizza and especially my moms homemade meatballs . My sleepovers at your house were equally as fun playing outside in the pasture and rooting around in the endless boxes of nuts and bolts and occasionally coming across a .22 cal round or two and taping it to the end of our BB guns ( yes we were reckless haha ) then holding it as far away from us as possible and letting it fire. Waiting for Saturday morning was pretty amazing at your house when it came to moms cooking. Homemade tomato gravy over homemade biscuits or waiting patiently for the cornbread in the cast iron to come out of the oven. Yes you and I loved food as much as we did everything else we did together. I could go on but I won’t but let me say this Grant , you’ve got the biggest largemouth on the end of your pole and the biggest buck hanging on your wall or the best trapping season ever..... When I call you my best friend I mean it and when I say I’ll miss you forever I will. Thanks for being you Grant . Your friend Doug
