To the man that stepped in as a father to me after mine died so early in my life. You took me under your wing and protected me like your own. You tried teaching me how to speak Spanish even though I was not always the best student. We played dominoes at the kitchen table. You showed me how to win. We salsa danced at the camp and the festivals. You were an amazing dance partner. The vacations we went on to Hawaii and Puerto Rico will forever be in my memories. The four of us had so many fun experiences. At the end of a busy day, I would look forward to you sharing your uniques sweet treat, “Mickey Special” with me. It was delicious. You have touched my life in so many ways. I will love you forever. Darlene
