Janet “Jan” Kuba, age 80, of Andover, formerly of Harpersfield, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2019 at home. She was born July 20, 1938 in Elk Creek, PA, the daughter of Harold Leroy and Alice Marie (Seipel) Crane. She married Bruce Kuba on July 19, 1957 in Painesville, OH.
Janet loved her German Shepherds. She enjoyed fishing in freshwater ponds and lakes and volunteering in her community. Most of all, Janet was a loving mother and homemaker, who will be greatly missed.
She is survived by son, Ed (Steph) Kuba; grandchildren, Justin, Dakota, Shannon and Benjamin; 4 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and brother, Harold (Sara) Crane. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce; son, Keith Kuba; her parents; and her siblings, Ruth Mihaly, Marilyn Ferron, and William Crane.
There will be a graveside service at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Alexander Harper Cemetery in Unionville.
