I am so sorry that I cannot make the service for Janis - I had the great privilege of being one of Janis' Physical Therapists. I cannot begin to express how fond I had grown of Janis during the time I worked with her. She was a truly special person - like no other. She worked so hard to get better - and she always managed to keep a positive outlook on her recovery no matter what. She was one of the most pleasant and dear people I have had the pleasure of knowing and conveyed a true warmth, compassion, kindness and sense of humor towards those around her. She always expressed her love for her children and grandchildren and how they meant the world to her. Her drive to get well was based on her desire to be nearer to her family. Janis was very exceedingly talented. I was able to bring her to the piano in the rec room on at least one occasion - and was fully blown away by her level of talent. After having not played the piano for 3 years (she said), she moved her fingers across the keyboard effortlessly and created such beautiful music, but with the greatest humility. Heaven will certainly enjoy her beautiful music, smile and lovely personality. I will miss you Janis - thank you for the smiles that you brought our way and for the privilege of having known you. God Bless your Beautiful soul!
