Jayne E. Locker, age 58, of Madison, Ohio passed away unexpectedly Monday, November 7, 2016 at home. She was born June 20, 1958 in Cleveland to Frank and Elizabeth (Kirk) Cavano.
Jayne graduated from Willoughby South High School in 1977. She worked for the Lake Health Systems, bringing smiles to people for over 20 years. Jayne loved to sew and was an accomplished seamstress, even making the girls’ Halloween costumes. She was a craft fanatic and a “gold” card member at Pat Catan’s. Jayne was very caring and enjoyed giving gifts. She was a HUGE animal lover who once saved a “cute” opossum.
She is survived by daughters, Laurel Locker and Ashley (John) Vencl; former husband, Norman Locker; in-laws, Mary Locker, Noman Locker; and sisters-in-law, Kathy (Brett) French, Loretta (Jack) Cipollone, and Laura Ricchi. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Charles Cavano.
Friends will be received 4 6 p.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio with a Memorial Service immediately following at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private burial will be at Perry Cemetery.

Our thoughts and prayers are coming your way from your family in Georgia. We are so sad over the loss of your beloved Mom. We take comfort in the happy memories we have of us being together, sharing stories, laughing and crying together, through good times and bad. She was a wonderful cook, and one of her signature dishes was her yummy, festive Jell-o molds. The crafts and outfits she made for Tyler and Alex were made with and given with love-we are so lucky to have those items to cherish. The two most precious gifts she gave to our family were her beautiful daughters Laurel and Ashley, who will carry on her legacy of strength, loyalty, laughter and love. Jayne beamed with pride at your every accomplishment and milestone, and will continue to do so from Heaven. We are so thankful she played matchmaker and brought John into our lives.
