Karen H. Scott age 62 a resident of Madison, Ohio passed away Friday morning, February 23, 2007 at her home.

Born March 13, 1944 in Fairport to Impi Mary (Hakola) & Eino Salminen.

Married Gary Scott on November 18, 1988.

She loved animals and raised Newfoundland dogs. She enjoyed working on the family farm. She loved her husband and spending time with her family & grandchildren.

She is survived by Her Husband Gary Scott of Madison; Daughters Michelle (Frank) Spano of Ashtabula; Denise (Steve) Hanzelka of Ashtabula; Jo Ann (Dan) Bess of Geneva; Sons Todd Dutton (Gail Mackey) of Ashtabula; Bryan Dutton of Ashtabula; Gary Scott, Jr (Constance) of Thompson; Grandchildren Zach, Stephen, Brandon, Bryan Jr, Frankie, Chloe, Gary, Carley, Amber, Justin, Holly, Daniell, Fawn & Amanda; Great Granddaughter Grace Sister Charlene Boyer of Florida; Brothers Eino Salminen of Thompson; David Hakola of Fairport; Donald Hakola of Fairport; Sister-in-Laws Phyllis Shereves; Charlene Miller; Rosie Hakola; J. Salminen & Brother-in-Law Maurice Wheeler.

She was preceded in death by Her birth Parents Impi Mary (Hakola) & Eino Salminen & Her adoptive father John Elis Hakola.

Friends will be received 2-5:00 pm Sunday, February 25th at The Behm Family Funeral Homes & Crematory, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio 44057.

A Private Family Service will be observed.

Rev. Alvey will be officiating.

Final Resting Place will be at Fairview Cemetery in Madison.
