Dear Cousins, I am so sorry to hear about Carol's passing. I only found out about it late Saturday night, and it took me a few more days to make contact. It is at these times that I think about happy memories, perhaps as a defense against the loss. Take care, Clay

I will always miss and remember when I was just a little kid and we all would go to the park and we would find rocks, beach glass, and drift wood and bring it to you and tell you a story about how it got on the beach. You always encouraged our imagination. And how you always said I was the best duster wall washer and foot washer in the family I will miss you so much grandma

When I was a little girl, Carol couldn't visit grandma and grandpa without taking me home. She was always very giving even though she didn't have much to give. I remember going to the store next door in Portsmouth and getting ice cream at Christy's(?) every time I visited. I regret not visiting her more when I grew-up, but I'll always cherish the memories made at Aunt Carol's when I was a girl. Love, Kristen

Carol was always a good big sister. She took Joe, me and the Campbell girls to the movies, swimming and other places that we would never have gotten to do otherwise. And yes, she did make the best peanut butter sandwich.

I want to share my deepest sympathies with the family. My beloved aunt Carol as I knew her was a very special person. She had a big heart that was always full of love. I appreciate everything that she did for me as I was growing up. I always loved spending time at her house with all my cousins. My heart goes out to them now in their hour of sorrow, but I know that she has moved on to a better place and that she was at peace and ready for the next step in her journey. We will all miss her until we see her again.

Dear Tim, Tammy, and Beth - I am glad I was able to visit with you all a few years ago, and got to see how much you loved your mom and the care you all gave her. I remember many good times when we went to school together and with my brother and the Dalton family when I was a teenager. And especially the fun times we had when your parents visited Florida. May you all find peace in knowing that your mom is no longer suffering and is in a better place. (((Hugs))) to all!
