Lillian “Lolly” Flanders, age 87, of Madison, passed away on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Madison Health Care. Born January 14, 1930 in Springfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Dunn. She married David J. Flanders in Newark, NY on July 5, 1968. She owned and operated the former Lil & Ginger’s Restaurant in Madison. She was a member of American Legion, Post 601 Ladies Auxiliary and she enjoyed spending winters in Florida, BINGO, ceramics, dancing, playing cards and being active with Old Fashioned Days. Lillian is survived by daughters Karen (Reginald) Houghwot and Luck Bryson; sons Dean McDonald, Louis (Deborah) McDonald, Bruce (Siri) Flanders and Byron Flanders; 14 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband David J. Flanders; a son Kim McDonald and her parents. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 8, 2017 from 12 p.m. until the time of a 2:00 p.m. funeral service at The Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madison, OH.
