Marian E. Rose, age 88, of Madison, passed away Thursday, September 26, 2019 at Divine Living Assisted Living. She was born on August 6, 1931, the daughter of Grace Jane (McGann) and Charles Augustus Stowe. She was married to Clyde C. Rose who passed in 1986.

Marian was an absolutely lovely person. She touched the lives of everyone she met and was always ready to lend an ear and give heartfelt advice. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, quilting, and needlepoint. Marian was always delighted to be around her furry friends but most of all she loved visiting with family and talking to them on a daily basis.

She is survived by her daughters, Martha (Charles) Cimino, Emma Perkins, Mariann (David) Rusnak; sons, Ralph (Lori) Rose, Ronald (Kathy) Rose; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Rose and son David Rose.

Private family services are being observed.
