Barbara Donovan left a message on December 2, 2020:
My sincere condolences to Marilyn’s extended family and friends who were blessed with knowing her kindly heart. Marilyn had a beautiful smile, twinkling eyes, a creative mind, a joyful sense of humor and a natural love for life. She was part of my life story over the past 60+ years. She was my babysitter when I was a toddler, an admirable neighborhood teenager. After she married and had children of her own, I was their babysitter. She and I found that we shared joy in sewing, painting and baking and in the challenges of raising children and adjusting to life in general. I miss her. Rest In Peace Mare. Love, Barley

Dear John and Mike, I am so sad to learn of your mom passing. I am so very sorry and will be keeping you both and your family in my prayers. Your mom was so very kind and welcoming to me. I had an instant connection with her and loved our conversations. Hard to believe how long ago that was that I was spending time with her...I remember it as though it was yesterday. I pray that she is at peace and that God is with you all. Love, Tammy (Chaffee) Grimes
