Martin L. Kerin, Jr., age 87, of Geneva, Ohio passed away Monday, April 29, 2019. He was born November 25, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio, to Teresa (Marincek) and Martin Kerin, Sr. He was married to the late Dorothy Avsec.
Martin was raised on his family farm on Ford Road in Madison. He fondly recalled riding his bike up and down Old Scott’s Hill. Martin worked at Harvey Hubbell and was a proud grape farmer/owner of Hidden Meadows Farm since 1964.
He is survived by nephew, Michael (Collette) Drugovich; nieces, Linda Chicatelli and Margaret (Elizabeth Steele) Drugovich.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; his parents; sister, Mary Drugovich; brother-in-law, Frank Drugovich and nephew Jacob Chicatelli.
Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, May 2, 2019, celebrated by Deacon Kenneth Meade of Immaculate Conception Church, Madison, at Fairview Memorial Park Cemetery, River Street in Madison Village, Ohio 44057.
In memory of Martin, donations may be made to the Ashtabula County APL, 5970 Green Rd. Ashtabula, Ohio 44004 or Hospice of the Western Reserve Inc., PO Box 72101, Cleveland, Ohio 44192.
