Michael J. Reardon, Sr., 82, was with his wife Hilda and daughter Mary when he passed away Thursday morning, Feb. 5, 2015. He was born in Cleveland to Jeremiah and Helen (nee O’Hara) Reardon on June 30, 1932. Michael married Hilda Hanratty Sept. 18, 1994.

At age 17 Michael enlisted in the Navy and became a submariner on the USS Guavina. When he was honorably discharged from service, Michael became a union pipefitter for Local 120 and retired in 1992. He was a history buff and enjoyed reading and learning. Michael loved his wonderful cats. He had an incredible sense of humor and loved golfing, but was terrible at it.

Michael is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Hilda; children Michael Jr. (Mardesi) Reardon, Mary (Michael) Mulcrone, Amy (Ebe Arndt) Reardon, Jerry Reardon, Thomas Reardon; step-children Kathy (Mike Nolan) Hanratty, Karen (Dan) Wilson, Jerry Hanratty, James (Pam) Hanratty, Michael Hanratty, and Kevin (Amy) Hanratty; 11 Grandchildren; and Sister Eileen (Richard) Crouch. His first wife Joyce (nee Bachman) and parents precede him in death.

There will be visitation 2-4pm on Tuesday Feb. 10, 2015 at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St. Madison, Ohio. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 4pm.
