I've lost my heart I'm here to say , to all of you who feel the same way , The true Monarch in all our lives ,has gone unto the flowers of heaven where Angels fly , for she was a gift from God this Angel you see , who gave of her love to you and to me ,always there through happiness and sorrow , to guide us all from here to tomorrow, truly such a gift was she , that her spirit will forever live in eternity , I'm here to praise this Angel for all to know , how wonderful heaven must be now that they have her to bestow , we all owe her praise and eternal love ,for she was truly an Angel, a gift from above.... I was a lucky woman to have my grandma for 61 years. My first memories of her are Sunday dinners with the entire family together, she and my parents, aunts and uncles, laughing and playing cards at her kitchen table. My brother and I as the first grandchildren, believed we could sneak in to watch, pretending we were like the grownups who were all so good looking and so cool. Spaghetti, Pepsi and cigarettes were the order of each Sunday and still remind me of those times, When mom was sick, grandma came to Pa often. I remember her visiting her own family,her mother and sisters that still lived in Pa. She probably needed them to help her stay sane, as her oldest daughter passed away, at only 35. She was the one who told me my mom was gone, as I opened the door in the early light of day. How hard that must have been, yet she consoled me, never breaking down herself . She gave me the time to grieve, as she held herself together. She went on to lose others; her only son, her mother, her husband, her sisters and her first born grandson, as well as, all her in-laws, all the while keeping her faith and seeming to stand like a willow, only swaying and bending in her storms, but never falling. My grandma, my long lived example of strength and tenacity was not as strong in the last of her days. Even so, her dignity and her love were plain to see. I pray I have inherited, if even a speck of her spirit in my soul. "Loads of Love, Grandma DeLarre" and rest in peace until we meet again.

My mom, God blessed everyone she ever met with laughs,smiles and kindness. We are thankful for almost 100 years of treasured memories she had with us and though we feel sadness now we find joy knowing she is welcomed by all who left before her. I love and miss you,June Ann Witt

I grew up with Grandma living next door. So I spent my childhood and a portion of my adult life living very closely to her. It’s hard to choose a single memory. I remember her laugh, her stories, and fanatical love for the Indians. She would preach living with love, hope and happiness was the secret of old age and her devotion to prayer. She had a heart of gold and a memory that was sharper than mine. She will be missed.
