Mary Lee, Michele, and Danny, We are so sorry for your loss. Phil was a wonderful person! I enjoyed playing with him on stage at W.O.W services on Wednesdays. He always had a great attitude! He is surely playing bongos in heaven with Jesus, God, and Jimi Hendrix lol! Your loss is Heaven's gain. Brandon Von Berendt, and family Nashville, TN

Phil always brought a smile either with a joke or his "simple" descriptions of life. He was friends w/th my late-father (Jim Sanzotta) who coined him "Fonzi w/th a respectable job." Prayers continued for support/comfort for Mary Lee,Michele & his grandson Daniel... Peace be with you. May Phil eternally Cruise in Peace...

Much love to Mary Lee, Michele and Daniel. I'm sorry I can't be at the celebration, for that's what they are, as our loved ones passed into the arms of Jesus. Phil was a great guy. I remember once when we did a laity Sunday service together at another church plus all the Disciple classes. I know what it will be like to miss your beloved. God can give you strength.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Phil was a very special guy. Even though I had not seen him for many years (like 7) I can still hear him laughing. He had a fabulous sense of humor....I wish I could have seen him more often (MLV too). I know how he affected me....so all the people who came in contact with him were better for knowing him. Rest in peace, dear Phil.

We have the best memories of going for long motorcycle rides with Phil and Mary Lee. One of the best days was when Phil and Mary Lee became a part of the Saybrook United Methodist Church. We will miss Phil so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with the three people that Phil loved more than anyone—Mary Lee, Michele, and Danny. We love you guys.
