Phyllis (Lockridge) Riffle, age 70, of Harpersfield Township, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014. Born September 26, 1943, in Durbin, WV, she was the daughter of Edna (Ratliffe) & Reece Lockridge. She married Lonnie Riffle, Jr. in Painesville, on November 22, 1961.
Phyllis was a nurses aide at NEO Hospital and also worked as a cafeteria aide for Madison Schools. She was a past member of American Legion Post 112. Phyllis had a wonderful sense of humor and always loved being around her family, especially during the holidays.
She is survived by her husband, Lonnie Riffle Jr., of Harpersfield; son, Lonnie (Jean) Riffle III of Harpersfield; daughters, Lona (Herman) York III of Harpersfield, Lora Pfeiler of Madison, Pamela (James Clark) Jenkins of Madison; grandchildren, Scott, Jessica, Tyler, Sara, Rachel, Herman IV; 1 great-grandson and several step- grandchildren; sister, Marsha Lockridge of Painesville; brother, Gary Setler of Fairport and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Kathryn Lockridge; sister, Patricia Hall; brother, Donald Lockridge.
Friends will be received 2-4 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River Street, Madison, Ohio, with a funeral service following at 4:00 PM.
