Ralph C. Flory, age 80, of Geneva on the Lake, passed away on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017 at Jefferson Health Care. Ralph was born on July 20, 1937 in Pittsburgh, PA to Richard F. and Louise (Baumler) Flory.
After 5 years of service, Ralph was honorably discharged from the National Guard in 1962. He retired from Rockwell International. Then, he owned and operated Hernandos Hideaway at Geneva-On-The-Lake, which was very successful. His business became a popular vacation spot where travelers could stay and enjoy some entertainment.
Ralph is survived by his sister-in-law, Martha Flory; nieces, Julie (Mark) Meyer, Margaret (Joseph) Kurcsak, Laura Flory, Amiee Flory; and nephew, Bill (Jennifer) Flory. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard J. Flory; and his nephew, Richard K. Flory.
Family suggests, contributions may be made to Bella Care Hospice, 1933 State Route 45 Austinburg, Ohio 44010

I'll never forget Ralf. He was a great guy to talk to,so many stories! He sure hated the army corp of engineers that messed up the beach! My girlfriend and I camped there every year in the 80's and 90's.I also remember his girlfriend Petie from long ago. I will miss him!
