Robert Gordon Raymond, age 66, of Geneva passed away November 2, 2017 at Cardinal Woods. Born October 28, 1951, he was the son of Phyllis (Prosser) and Lee Raymond.
Bob served his country as a veteran of the U.S. Army Medical Corp., stationed in Germany. He was a supervisor and press operator at MFG. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed coaching for Genevas Midget League basketball, baseball and football teams with his life-long friend Mike Schupska. He also spent several years as a Cub Scout Leader. With a great sense of humor, Bob was a real jokester. He loved the outdoors spending time hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his children, Drew (Heather) Raymond, Nate (Nadia Beck) Raymond, Marissa (Matt Tooley) Raymond, all of Geneva, Tracy Cimino of Ashtabula, Matthew Raymond of N. Kingsville; 15 grandchildren; sisters: Wendy Melcher and Robin Munger; the love of his life Eugenea Raymond. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Avery; his Uncle “Gordy”; sister: Linda and Ralph Wetherbee and brother Dell VanTassel.
A Graveside Service will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on State Route 84 in Geneva.
