Ronald Cornelius Siebeneck

Harpersfield Township- Ronald Cornelius Siebeneck, age 75 of Harpersfield Township passed away Sunday March 22nd peacefully in his home from complications of heart disease. He was born on August 4th, 1944 in Ottawa, Ohio to Victor and Philomena (Maag) Siebeneck. He graduated from Columbus Grove High School in 1962, and then went on to serve in the United States Army from 1962-1965. On June 28th, 1986 he married Terri Ellis, his loving wife of 34 years.
He started his career in banking, real estate sales and most recently a real estate appraiser. He was the proud owner of Siebeneck Appraisal Service for 40 years. He was an active member of his community. In past years he served as Charter President of the Geneva Jaycee’s, Harpersfield Township Trustee and zoning board, Chairman of Rotary Polio Plus, President of the March of Dimes for Ashtabula County, and a member of the Knights of Columbus. Ron and his wife Terri were chairmen for the Harpersfield Memorial Day program for several years. He loved playing Santa Claus for the Elk’s Club and other community events.
Ron loved gardening, especially caring for his 30 plus rose bushes, reading and traveling. He was always willing to share his wisdom and advice, especially with his children and grandchildren, whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters, Kathy and Joanie. He is survived by his wife Terri; his children Ronald (Wendi) Siebeneck of Ashtabula; Valarie (Leroy) Derricoatte of Ashtabula; Christian (Karin) Siebeneck of Perry; Kaitlin (Anthony) Chapman of Geneva; his grandchildren Jordan, Marcus, Leah, Alexis, Garrette, Grace and Anthony; 2 great grandchildren with one on the way; brothers, Victor (Sharon) Siebeneck of Indiana, Kenneth (Susan) Siebeneck of Florida; and sisters, Marilyn Bowers of Pennsylvania, and Bonnie Neuer of Arizona.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. thru 12 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2020 at the Behm Family Funeral home, 175 South Broadway, Geneva, OH. A Memorial Service will follow at noon.
