Stephen Kadas, age 50, of Madison passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at UH Geauga Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. He was born November 28, 1968 in Euclid to Stephen Kadas Sr. and Kathleen “Pecze” Kadas. He married Marilyn Takacs on June 9, 1990.
Stephen was a service technician at Industrial Motor and Control in Willoughby. He coached basketball and baseball for 12 years with the Madison Youth Sports Programs. He loved nature and the outdoors and especially loved fishing. Stephen was a diehard Steelers and Penguins fan, but favored the Indians over the Pirates.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn of 29 years; children, James, Jenna and Ryan; mother, Kathleen; sister, Amanda Kadas; brothers Robert (Amy) Kadas and David (Eneral) Kadas; and loved nieces and nephew Matthew, Samantha and Misheel. He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends will be received 4-8 p.m. Monday June 3, 2019 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 26, River Street, Madison, OH. Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Rd, Madison, OH 44057 with Father Sean Donnelly officiating. Final Resting place will be Perry Cemetery.
