Virginia May Cartner, age 84, of Plymouth Township passed away December 1, 2015 at her home. She was born January 21, 1931 in Geneva to Florence (Harrington) and Edward Beebe.

Virginia was a member of the Park United Methodist Church and belonged to the Madison Grange. She played on the radio with the Pat Massucci Accordion Orchestra. Virginia enjoyed camping and fishing with her husband Harry and family.

She is survived by her son, Barry Cartner of Plymouth; daughter, Donna Cartner of Madison; grandchildren, Theron Simmons, Lester Smith, Mark Wischhusen, Timothy Crane and many loved nieces and nephews. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Harry Cartner; her parents, brother, Earl Norman Beebe; sister, Lucille Johnson; nephews, Billy and Sonny Balog, Joey Balog and George Balog.

Friends will be received 1 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at the BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison. A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m.at the funeral home. Pastor Bill Alvey will be officiating. Final resting place will be North Madison Cemetery in Madison.
