Doris I. Komssi, age 95,of Concord Township since 1947, passed away Saturday, May 3, 2008 Lake East Hospital in Painesville.

She was born September 27, 1912 in Cleveland to John & Cassie (Rae) Lenk and married Avri W, Komsii in Junction City, Kansas on 6/6/1942.

She was a homemaker who loved working in her vegetable garden and selling produce at her roadside stand well into her 90?s. She lived a simple life and enjoyed shopping for the groceries required to cook sumptuous meals for her family and friends. She loved her family.

She is survived by 2 Daughters, Sharynne (Donald L.) Jacobson, of Madison and Loretta (George) Veloski, of Thompson; 1 Son, Richard A. Komsii of Concord; 7 Grandchildren, Donald K. (Paula) Jacobson, Karyn B. (Tim) Cassell, Kevin S. (Beckie) Jacobson, all of Madison, Rebbecca (Jason) Tinnel of Fredericksburg, VA, Melissa Leslie, of Chesterland, Erika (John) Salyard and Regina (Jason) Schobel, both of Altoona, PA; 13 Great-Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvo, in 1997; Her Parents, and 3 brothers, Wilber Lenk, Llewellyn Lenk, John ?Jack? Lenk.

Funeral Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street, Madision, Ohio, where friends will be received 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, May 6. The Rev. Robert Cunningham of Unionville United Church will be officiating.

Final Resting Place will be in Concord Township Cemetery.
