Edward S. Bennett, Jr., age 59,
resident of Cleveland and formerly of Geneva, died, Thursday, May 12, 2011 at Rae Ann Nursing Home in Geneva.
He was born: July 19, 1951 in Geneva, Ohio.
Edward was a sheet metal worker and was a member of the Sheetmetal Worker?s Local #33. He served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.
He was a member of Hunters Haven Rod and Gun Club in Sewellsville, Ohio.
He is survived by his two sons, Eric and Bryan Bennett both of Madison,Ohio; father, Edward S. Bennett Sr. of Geneva; sisters, Cheryl (Brian) Curtis of Geneva, Barb (Joe) Register, of California and Janice (Steve) Bennett -Salcfas of California; several nieces and nephews and special friend Veronica Bennett.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Vera (Hamric) Bennett.
Friends will be received at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St, Madison, OH 44057 on Tuesday May 17, 2011 from 4:30 pm. to 6:30 pm.
A Memorial Service will follow with Military Honors at 6:30 pm. The Pastor Michael Haury of Crossroads Community Church of Madison will be officiating.
