Helen M. Monty, age 94, of Madison, Ohio passed away January 22, 2019 at Geneva Village Nursing Home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born November 15, 1924 in Ages, Kentucky the daughter of Florence (Fleenor) and John Parsons.
Helen was a 1945 Graduate of St. Charles, VA High School. She formerly worked with disabled children and adults. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and going to movies but most of all she enjoyed taking care of her family.
She is survived by daughters, Johnnie Sue Parsons, Regina Bertone, Kathy Easterbrook; sons, Edmund Monty, Michael Monty; 11 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren and 2 on the way;. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Vincent S. Monty; great-grandchildren Daniel and Leroy; sisters, Lillian Green, Nita Houghton, and Virginia Scott and brother, Jack Parsons.
Friends will be received 5-7 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River St., Madison, OH. A funeral Service will be held 11 am Friday, January 25th at the Funeral Home. Final Resting Place will be Fairview Cemetery, Madison, Ohio.

I only saw Aunt Helen a few times after I became an adult, the most recent being at the passing of Aunt Nita. She was always very kind to me and had a lot of stories to tell about their growing up years. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. Niece Dianne White
