Jerome G. Borowske, age 70 of Geneva, passed away Thursday, January 3, 2019 at his home. He was born March 13, 1948 in Cleveland, the son of the late Aloysius and Irene (Lyng) Borowske.
Jerry was a proud Marine who served our country during Vietnam. A fun loving and generous heart he was always willing to help those in need. He worked for several years as a Draftsman for the Lubrizol Corporation. For the past several years, Jerry worked alongside his wife, Margie as the owners of Mar-G’s Restaurant in Geneva where he was affectionately known as Jer-Bear.
He is survived by his wife, Margie Lyons Snyder Borowske; his daughter, Stacy (Edward) Lim; his grandchildren, Elijah, Kai and Tessa; his step children, Laurie and Blaine; and his 6 Step grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Norman; and his sister, Rita Laird.
Friends will be received 2-4:00 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2019 the Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jerry and I are two years old and share a galvanized tub together to splash and have fun. Walking together to attend school at West Tech. I forgave him long ago for joining the Marines during Vietnam, LOL. I was Navy, Joe H was Air Force, Joe K was Navy. Travel to our Lord Savior Jerry With sadness of heart I remain your friend... To all Jerry's immediate family and all those who knew him, I am truly sorry for your loss. I will always remember the good times in St. Coleman's grade school, at West Tech High School, and our mischievous days leading up to Vietnam; also the crazy times before our marriages and the short social encounters after.
