Larry Carraher, age 75, of Geneva passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at UH Geneva Medical Center. He was born in Geneva on March 6, 1946 the son of Paul and Evelyn (Drake) Carraher. He married Carol Colby on May 23, 1970 in Geneva.
Larry owned and operated Apex Electronics. He retired as a Project Manager for Bailey Controls, and he most recently worked as a certified real estate appraiser for Siebeneck Appraisal Services. Larry and Carol enjoyed traveling, trips over the road in their RV, and geocaching. He was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and enjoyed flying RC planes. Larry cooked a mean rack of ribs, liked country music and organizing trips to Disney. Larry had many talents, he could fix anything and he loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol; daughter Amy (Chris) Dodsworth; son, Chris Carraher; brother, Thomas Patrick (Carolyn) Carraher; sister, Michelle “Shelly” (Brent) Reeves. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11:30 am on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Behm Family Funeral Home, 175 South Broadway in Geneva. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 Noon at Assumption Catholic Church, 549 W Main Street in Geneva. Guests are required to follow current pandemic guidelines, wear masks and practice social distancing. Final resting place will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Geneva. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions in Larry’s name to Helping Hands, 549 W Main Street Geneva, OH 44041.
