Robert D. Martin, age 86, of Geneva. Passed away Saturday, June 25, 2011 quietly in his sleep.

He and his wife moved home in 2002 after living many years in Columbus.

Born July 3, 1924 in Warren Ohio to Donald and Janet (Ford) Martin, he married Barbara Thompson on March 4, 1950 in Unionville

Robert Served in the United States Navy during WWII. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and boating. He was a member of the Church of the Blessed Hope in Unionville.

Survived by Wife, Barbara of Geneva;

Sons, Timothy A. (Debra) Martin of Columbus, and Terry (Cindy) Martin of Seven Hills; Daughter, Melinda (Otto) Grellman of Sugar Grove , Ill;

2 Granddaughters, 2 Great-Granddaughters and 1 Great-Grandson.

Preceded in death by his Parents;

Brothers, Chuck, Ralph, Don, Gordon, and Stanley

Friends will be received from 5:00 to 8:00pm on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at The Behm Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 26 River St, Madison, OH 44057.

Memorial Service will be at 11:00am on Friday, July 1, 2011 at the Church of the Blessed Hope, 7337 South Ridge Road in Madison

Final Resting Place will be at Alexander Memorial Cemetery in Unionville
