Name: Robert M. Shreve, 81, of Perry, died Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Heather Hill in Chardon.

Born August 23, 1927 in Lumberport, WV to Alda Mae (Roby) and Marion D. Shreve hem arried Catherine Drummond on August 27, 1946.

he retired as a technician from Ricerca in 1983. Mr. Shreve served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He had a passion for farming and enjoyed running the family farm, ?Shreve Farm and Greenhouses,? on Antioch Road in Perry. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Perry and was a Councilman for North Perry Village for 24 years. He also loved bowling as well as surf fishing with his wife on their many trips to south Padre Island.

Survived by Wife of 62 years, Ccatherine Shreve of Perry; Son, Dick (Susie) Shreve of Perry; Daughter-in-Law, Debbie Shreve of Cincinnati; 5 Grandchildren, Kelly Shreve of Cape Coral, Florida, Daniel Shreve of Perry,Jessica Shreve of Las Vegas, NV, Sarah Shreve of Cincinnati, and Rodney Franzen of Cincinnati; Great Granddaughter, Riley; 3 Sisters, Esther Norris of Painesville, Edna Stemple of West Virginia and Doris (Tom) Isner of Painesville.

Preceded in death his Parents; Son, Robert ?Bob? Shreve; Brother, Clyde Shreve and Sister Georgia Lee Smith.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at the Behm Family Funeral Home, 26 River Street in Madison.

Friends will be received for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home

Rev. Michael Cole of the First Baptist Church in Perry will officiate

Final Resting Place will be in Perry Cemetery, Perry.
