Vesta Miller, age 96 of Ashtabula, passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at the Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was born August 7, 1920 in Canaan, West Virginia, the daughter of Lloyd Edward and Emma (Smith) Sines.
A graduate of Geneva’s Platt R. Spencer High School, Vesta went on to retire from Ohio Bell / AT&T where she worked as an operator and supervisor for many years. She enjoyed collecting antiques and a good meal at Lakeway Restaurant in Ashtabula. She truly loved her family and took great honor caring for her Mom. She also greatly enjoyed the time spent with her caring Nephew, Jerry.
She is survived by her nephews, Jerry and Albert; nieces, Debbie, Denise, and Sandra. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett and her brothers, Orrel, Merle, Donald, and Jerome.
A Graveside Service will take place at 1:00pm on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery on Route 84 in Geneva.
